The Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Huntsville Curling Club members whose leadership and contributions over multiple years have resulted in the sustainable growth and success of the Club.
Eligible nominees will have had a significant impact in multiple areas, such as, but not limited to:
- Club development (e.g. membership growth, volunteer engagement, communication)
- Revenue growth (e.g. fundraising, sponsorship programs, bonspiels, grants)
- Program development (e.g. youth/junior curling, Learn to Curl, school programs)
- Club operations (e.g. renovations, maintenance)
- Special events (e.g. championships hosted by the club, anniversary celebrations)
- Club visibility (e.g community involvement, CurlOn, Curling Canada)

Nominations are being accepted until April 25, 2025 for both awards. The Volunteers of the Year Awards recognize Huntsville Curling Club members whose leadership and contributions within the past curling season had a significant and positive impact on the Club. Nominations will be reviewed by the Volunteers Director along with the Board of Directors, and the recipient(s) will be formally announced at the HCC Annual General Meeting. In addition to the recognition at the AGM, the winners also receive a personalized wine or beer glass above the bar for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
