The HCC is excited about the upcoming season!! In a recent communication to members, Huntsville Curling Club President, Ron Kreutzer reviewed and highlighted Covid protocols for when our curling season kicks off in October.
As part of his communication, Ron reminded members that; "Current provincial government recommendations do not require vaccinations or a show of proof of vaccination as was done in the past. And unlike last year, there are no mandates from the Ministry of Health that we are currently required to follow. The Simcoe Muskoka District Public Health Unit has extensive documentation on this topic which can be found here SMDPHU ."
In addition Ron indicated, "...we have also consulted with CurlOn and other curling clubs in the region, most of which will not be requiring proof of vaccination to play. Taking all this into consideration, we will not be implementing any Covid-specific protocols for the start of the first draw".
