Ensuring the safety of our staff and our members is the primary concern of the BOD at HCC. Early indications are that as the Province moves into phase 3 of reopening, our curling season can begin as regularly scheduled with some potential modifications like member flow, hygiene, playing the game (i.e. only 1 sweeper), scheduling, shared items etc. Of course this is subject to daily changes as we continue to fight the Covid-19 virus. Our plan will be to open as usual October 18th with regular league play, although ‘regular’ might not be the best description. The key determinants around how and when we open, will be the guidelines for indoor sporting activities that will be communicated as part of Phase 3 opening by the Ministry of Health and Simcoe Muskoka Public Health.
